Earth Justice Action Group / ERUUF Book Club Joint Read via Zoom.
- The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Our economy is rooted in scarcity, competition, and the hoarding of resources. How, she asks, can we learn from indigenous wisdom and the plant world to reimagine what we value most?
- Diet for a Small Planet: 50th Anniversary Edition by Frances Moore Lappé, a book that revolutionized the meaning of our food choices, now with more than a dozen new delights from celebrity chefs including Mark Bittman, Padma Lakshmi, Alice Waters, José Andrés, Bryant Terry, Mollie Katzen, and Sean Sherman. Both books are short and an easy read. Both are vital messages for the serious crisis-times we're living through, where our very survival depends on the choices we make now ~ both individually and collectively.
All, especially first timers, are invited for book discussion and fellowship. This group meets over Zoom on the third Tuesday every month.
For more information and to receive the Zoom link, reach out to the ERUUF Book Club.
