As we live our lives with its many distractions and busyness, it is easy sometimes to numb or distract ourselves, avoiding our grief around our many losses. Loss of the familiar as our culture shifts, loss of jobs, relationships, and the death of close friends and family. Therapist Francis Weller in his book, “The Wild Edge of Sorrow”, says that grief needs to be expressed and held in community. Giving voice and feeling to our grief is our path toward healing. Facilitated by Rev. Grove.
