The Foundation
About The Foundation
In 1989, a group of forward-thinking, committed, and generous ERUUF members believed so strongly in the mission of ERUUF that they established an endowment to help ensure that ERUUF would continue to thrive well beyond their lifetimes. The Eno River Fellowship Foundation (The Foundation) develops and manages this endowment which operates solely for the financial support of ERUUF and its mission.

This year the Foundation is excited to award seven grants, totaling $28,650. These awards, described in the Table below, are made possible by legacy gifts and other donations to the Foundation’s Initiatives and Enhancement Endowment Fund.
Foundation Grant Proposals for 2024
Foundation Grant Applications are due on January 31, 2024.
The Foundation is excited to announce the annual grant application and proposal submission process for this year and encourages ERUUF’s staff, ministry teams, and members to submit proposals for Foundation grants. After careful deliberation and input from ERUUF’s leadership, the Foundation Board has decided to focus the 2024 grant awards on bold initiatives or infrastructure enhancements that are in alignment with two broad areas:
- ERUUF’s Annual Vision of Ministry to honor the past while nurturing ERUUF’s future by weaving a Beloved Community of Radical Inclusiveness, and to increase awareness and engagement within ERUUF and the broader community; and
- ERUUF’s 2023-2026 Strategic Plan.
If funds allow, the Foundation Board will consider funding additional grant proposals that have been properly vetted and approved by the appropriate staff partner. If you have a great idea to support one of these areas of focus that fits with your ministry team’s priorities, please complete, and submit the Proposal Application Form (PDF File, Word File) by January 31, 2024.
