Stories shape our understanding of our world and ourselves. They guide who we are, who we strive to be, and what is possible. In these liminal times, the way we tell our story is critical to owning our power and making real our faithful work towards collective liberation. We can be passive spectators to the rise of fascism, or active protagonists on the stage of history. Which story will we choose?
Rev. Lisa Garcia-Sampson serves as the Executive Director of UU Justice NC, The Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of North Carolina. In this role, she has the pleasure of working with over two dozen UU congregations across the state on a range of intersectional justice issues.
