During this Sunday’s service guest speaker, Kara Stewart, member of the Sappony tribe will share about North Carolina’s eight state-recognized American Indian tribes and the Native Americans who are all around us today.
She will also offer a presentation and deeper discussion at 12:30 pm in the Commons Room.

Kara Stewart was a teacher in North Carolina public schools for 24 years. She currently serves on the North Carolina American Indian Heritage Commission and the Board of Directors of United Tribes of North Carolina.
