As part of our Green Sanctuary Accreditation, Religious Education participants and volunteers are caring for the ERUUF community garden beds this summer.

Over the last month, we've repaired the garden boxes, weeded, added new soil, and built three trellises for the raised beds. Sunday, June 6, 2021, is our first official R.E. day in the gardens, and we'll be planting tomatoes, okra, basil, sunflowers, marigolds, and squash seedlings. If you are interested in gardening with us, please sign up here.

We'll be gathering from 9:30-10:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of June-August, and we can use many adult hands supporting our children and youth in the gardens. It will be fun and promises to be a meaningful way to start reconnecting with the ERUUF community after a long year apart.
