Coming of Age Interest Meeting
Join us for an in-person information session for youth and caregivers interested in Coming of Age in 2026-2027. We will provide an overview of the program and have a Q&A session with a few of the youth from last year's Coming of Age cohort. And we will have bagels and juice to share!
What is Coming of Age (COA)?
COA is a program for 9th-10th grade youth to encourage reflection on what they believe about the world, how they want to be in the world, and what it means to be Unitarian Universalist.
Youth meet with a panel of congregational elders to support them on their journey of discovery and build relationships across generations. The program culminates with a youth-led worship service in which youth share their personal credos. There will also be a pilgrimage to Boston to explore its UU history after the program (Summer 2027).
