Eno River CUUPS Imbolc / Candlemas Celebration
Eno River CUUPS celebrates Imbolc / Candlemas!
This Cross-Quarter, exactly halfway between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, is sacred to Brigid the Goddess, Brigid the Saint, hibernating animals, and is a national holiday celebrated as the beginning of Spring in Ireland. You are warmly invited to join us as we welcome back guest presenter Lea Clayton, founder of GreenHeart Healing Arts, an herbalist who will explore this powerful time with us, leading a plant meditation, and sharing about healing herbs--one of the bounties of the Earth--and healing practices that are accessible to all. Lea leads group classes in herbal medicine at her garden and apothecary in Saxapahaw NC, and offers one-to-one clinical herbal consultations. Visit www.greenheartnc.com to learn more, and if you’d like to be added to her mailing list.
This is a free participatory gathering open to all those ages 16 and older, and to children ages 15 and younger who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult companion.
Feel free to invite like-hearted others!
