Responding and Organizing in Authoritarian Times

BBC correspondent David Robson recently wrote: “Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.” UUs are charged to be bold in love, steadfast in their values, and unwavering in their commitment to justice. What will we do in the face of growing authoritarianism, fear, and division? How will we respond without despair but with courage, resilience, and collective power?
