UU Justice NC's Friday Action Hour - Friday, October 16th at 11:00am. We Won't Stop Fighting for James Richardson. In 2009, James Richardson was wrongfully convicted of double homicide in Greenville, NC. Despite there being no forensic or eyewitness evidence linking James to the murders, he was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. His case is widely regarded as one of the most egregious wrongful conviction cases in our nation. Since 2023, UU Justice NC has been proud to partner with the Free James Richardson Campaign. This week, we will be joined by campaign lead Hibah Elawad who will share some important updates on the case. Then we'll take action calling the Pitt County D.A. Faris Dixon.
