Dear ERUUF Members,
The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that we will hold our Annual Meeting of the Fellowship on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11:30 AM. There will be coffee and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall between the end of the service and the start of the meeting.
The Annual Meeting is both an opportunity to engage in fellowship and an important moment when we come together to fulfill our responsibilities as Members, living into the democratic process that guides our congregation by voting on important matters of business. For members who cannot attend in person, absentee ballots will be accepted until noon on Thursday, May 28th. Absentee ballots will be available on the ERUUF website as part of the annual meeting packet, as well as in the office. Annual Meeting Packet and Information.
As a Board, we entered this ERUUF year by articulating our 2025-2026 Annual Vision of Ministry. The vision is the product of a thoughtful, collaborative, and iterative process, representing both our deep gratitude for who we are today and our aspirations for who we are becoming. For 2025-2026, we have crafted a vision that speaks not only to the heart of who we are, but also to the spirit of who we aspire to be as a community:
Together, we embody the strength and vision needed to face this moment with courage and clarity. In this time of change, we commit to creating a future grounded in love, imagination, and shared purpose.
Rooted in the foundation of yesterday, we shape tomorrow and embrace the spirit of our living tradition by:
- Building a sacred space of joy, respite, and renewal
- Celebrating and sharing the gifts of our multigenerational and diverse covenantal community
- Fostering solidarity with our neighbors through nurturing our collective commitment to hope and resilience.
When we gather on May 31st, you will have the opportunity to vote on the next generation of leaders who will move us forward and the budget needed to help get us there. You will also hear the results of the Annual Pulse Survey and learn about our work to set the stage for welcoming a new Youth Trustee next year.
It is an exciting time to reflect on all we have accomplished together this year and all the exciting opportunities that await us.
In Fellowship,
Ann Verdine-Jones
Chair, Board of Trustees
