Meet Our Music Director Candidate: Saturday, March 19, 2022

The Music Director Search Team is excited to offer you an opportunity to come sing with the finalist candidate for ERUUF’s Music Director position!

The finalist we are presenting as the candidate for Music Director will be visiting our campus on the afternoon of Saturday, March 19. The candidate will conduct each of our two main adult choirs (the BCC and the ERS) in short rehearsals, and engage in an informal conversation with our instrumentalists.

We are inviting all those who are interested in ERUUF’s Music Ministry to participate by singing with the choirs or joining in the instrumentalists’ conversation.

The schedule of activities is as follows:

2:30 - 3:15   Eno River Singers Rehearsal, anyone present is welcome to sing

3:30 - 4:00   Conversation with instrumentalists

4:15 - 5:00   Beloved Community Chorus Rehearsal, anyone present is welcome to sing

This will be a chance for the ministers and the Search Team to see the candidate in action and for that person to develop a feel for our choral groups and the interests of our instrumentalists. It is not an evaluation, and we are not asking for feedback or an assessment of the candidate. Rather, it is a chance for us to be welcoming and to sing together in fellowship. Please note that this event will not be live streamed.

All participants must wear masks at all times and be seated at a distance from each other. If you attend one of the rehearsals, please plan to arrive 5 to 15 minutes before the start time. If you arrive early, please wait in the gallery until invited into the Sanctuary. At the end of the rehearsal time, we will ask singers to move out into the gallery or the courtyard if you want to socialize.

Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.

Our candidate voiced the opinion that the world would likely be a better place if we sang together more often.  So come, join in the singing!!

We look forward to seeing you on the 19th! Questions? Contact:
