The first round of the Transgender Inclusion in Congregations program ended on March 25. ERUUF Pride+, the Multicultural Team, and the Eno River Fellowship Foundation made this six-session on-line course with Zoom discussion groups possible.
48 of us learned about the Gender Binary and its effects on ourselves and the culture of ERUUF. We also reflected on continuing to create Beloved Community and moving toward Radical Welcome. This program engages the heart as much as the mind and brings deep insight. Rev. Mykal Slack led three of the discussion sessions and Rev. Jacqueline Brett shared her ideas at the final session.
