The Ministerial Search Committee has been moving forward with the search process. We have submitted our Congregational Record to the UUA where it is currently being reviewed. Once the Record is publicly released, we will share it with the Congregation. As those of you who attended the focus groups may remember and as we have noted in previous updates: Per UUA requirements, a decision must be made on any internal candidate prior to any other ministerial candidates being considered. This may be different than what many people in the private sector are used to, but it is designed to protect ministers and congregations. As this part of the process unfolds, we would like to share findings from our fall data collection efforts.

Thanks to all who attended the finance forum last Sunday. We are so looking forward to getting to see more and more folks over the coming months. It has been a long pandemic and the ERUUF Board of Trustees is eager to connect!
As the Board reflected at our retreat earlier in the year, two things were obvious: we are in a time of great transition as a congregation and we need each other. And so, ERUUF’s Annual Vision of MInistry was born: A Year of Connection and Change. While these ideas might feel a bit at odds, this vision conjures for me the image of our joining, hand in hand, and moving as one towards a great new adventure.
Update from the Music Director Search Team
Kudos to all who helped create a wonderful service last Sunday featuring some of ERUUF's musical groups. Next year, our new Music Director will be organizing that effort! In fact, the ministers plan to be able to announce the new Music Director by March 31.
Holiday Services at ERUUF--Pandemic Style
Given current conditions (our littlest ones aren't yet vaccinated, along with immunocompromised people) we're planning for the most inclusive yet safe holiday services that we can imagine.

ERUUF Coronavirus Updates
April 27, 2023
A new phase has been reached in the COVID-19 virus.
As a spiritual community, we at ERUUF strive to create a culture of respect and care for one another. Our Covid-19 policies have been guided by serious concern and consideration for the safety and well-being of all ERUUF members, staff, and visitors, with a commitment to equity and care for the most vulnerable among us and those who are marginalized both at ERUUF and in the larger community.
